Group Life
Wheter it's a Community Group where you connect with others in a similar stage in life, a Spiritual Formation Group that helps you become a reproducing disciple, a support group where you discover safe community and healing, or a short-term group, groups are the places to develop lasting connection. Celebrate Recovery
A Christ Centered program working through 
our hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program where people can come together to share and work through their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. By sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems. Join us for a meal, worship, testimonies, and fellowship. Childcare is provided for a nominal fee.

Women
The Women's Ministry of Sherman Bible Church exists to provide opportunities for women to seek, reach, connect, and serve at the church and in our community.  We do that by providing meals and emergency care within the church, and supporting our missionaries who  are doing God's work- through programs and events such as MOM's (under development), potluck gatherings, a summer  Bible study, outreach Tea & Luncheon, and a women's retreat-and by supporting the SBC staff with major events & programs. If you would be interested in serving in any of these areas, please contact the church office.

Worship and Arts
Our Worship and Arts ministry encompasses a broad area of ministries designed to enhance our worship experience and to help people connect with God. From the worship music you sing on Sunday mornings to dramas, videos, and other media and arts activities, this ministry seeks to glorify God and to display His creativity. • Groups
  We are always looking for community group leaders to lead groups in their homes. We'll provide all of the training necessary! Looking for leaders for young marrieds, young singles, old fogeys, and everyone in between!
• Assimilators
  Assimilators are a vital new part of the ministry here. Assimilators assist in helping new people and existing members connect with Sherman Bible. If you are outgoing and like meeting new people, if the thought of helping people get the resources they need or take their next step gets you excited, We want to hear from you!
• Children's Ministry
  There are opportunities of every kind are available with our children. If you enjoy kids and love to act like one sometimes, do we ever need you! If you aren't crazy about being in the company of anyone shorter than your waist but have the gift of helps and would like to work behind the scenes, do we ever need you! We have ways for you to serve God in children's ministry with varying degrees of time commitment and varying degrees of preparation. One thing is certain: working directly or indirectly with children promises to be exciting and keeps you young. (Well, young at heart anyway!) These are the various opportunities:
• Drama Team
  This team is for people with gifts in the area of Drama, both in acting and script writing. You don’t have to have experience in this area. It is an auditioned ministry.
• Graphics Team
  We are looking for people with some experience in graphic arts to help with promotional materials we use here at SBC, from website materials to signage in the lobby.
• Technical Team
  These are our sound and lights technicians. They are responsible for setting up and running the sound and lights for Sunday morning services and any other special events.
• Worship Band
  This is a dedicated group devoted to bringing the best quality music for every Sunday mornings service and special events such as Christmas and Easter. They rehearse every Wednesday night at 8:00pm – 9:30pm. We are a rock style band. We are always looking for more players. It is an auditioned group.
• Vision Team
  This group is responsible for creating and producing videos for the Sunday morning services as well as special events such as Christmas, Easter and SUNDAY ONE. This group includes camera operators, sound technicians, lighting techs, video editors and script writers.
