Get Connected: 6 easy ways to get connected at SBC…

This your first visit? Seasoned veteran to the church? Maybe you’ve found your church home and you’re ready to get involved. How do people get connected and develop significant relationships in this church? Here are 6 great ways to get connected! Pick any one of them and give it a try, you’ll be glad you did.

1.Attend d:one, our Newcomer’s Dinner- 
Come eat some geat food, meet others who are new to SBC, meet the pastors, and hang out at Pastor Dennis’ house. This is a laid-back environment where you can meet other newcomers, eat till you’re stuffed, meet some of the pastors and elders, and hear a little about Sherman Bible. Childcare is provided, so come on!

2. Attend d:two, our Membership Class - 
What’s at the heart of SBC? Why do we do church the way we do? How can you be a part in the story? Scheduled six times a year, this class explores SBC’s values, purpose, and how you fit into the ongoing story.Join a group. 
Whether it's a community group where you connect with others in a similar stage in life, a Spiritual Formation Group that helps you become a reproducing disciple, a support group where you discover safe community and healing, or a short-term group, groups are the places to develop lasting connection. 3. Join a GROUP - Whether it's a Community Group, a Spiritual Formation Group, or a support group, these are places to develop lasting connections @ Sherman Bible Church.

4. Attend an Event- 
Special events, retreats, classes, camps and more happen around here all the time. Attend one and be changed forever.

5. Go back to School - 
SBC offers a few classes through what we call SBC University- SBCU. It might be a budget class or a parenting class… offered every semester, enroll today!

6. Volunteer to serve in a ministry team - 
Be a part of a ministry here that is reaching people for God. Use your own God-given talents and desires to minister, and develop lasting connections with others on the journey. We have 2 services on Sunday mornings, attend one and serve one!
